Interested in gaining your licentiateship to the Royal Photographic Society? Wondering where to start?  Then why not book yourself on one of our personal one to one support classes. 

The  one to one sessions are designed to assist you in creating your portfolio to a high enough standard to be accepted to the LRPS and ARPS qualifications. You’ll be guided by professional and award winning photographer Richard Weston who will take you through what is involved starting with an initial portfolio review of your current work along with guidance as to what is required next. 

FAQ

How long does it take?  There is no rush to complete your portfolio for submission so you can take as long or as little as your like.  However the average time for past students has been approximately 12 to 18 months.

Can I use images from my back catalogue?  To start with yes, but be very prepared to take lots of new photographs! 

How many picture do I need?  The final portfolio will consist of ten images but you are asked to submit 15 for your initial one to one.  This will give a good indication of your currnet standard of photography.

What sort of pictures should I choose?  Choose pictures that are sharp, well composed, have detail in the shadows and highlights and show a variety of subject matter i.e. portraiture, still life, landscape etc.

How do the one to one sessions work?  The sessions are designed around your own personal photography and are conducted face to face online.  Each session is recorded for you to review again at your leisure.

How much does it cost?  A one hour session is £30

How many sessions do I need?  As a guide as and when you have new images to review.  This can be as often or as little as you like.
